“Killalane, with Tandragee a close second even though I’ve never really got a good result at Tandragee.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“The one I have now of course, otherwise I’d get a different one. Its a 2017 GSXR 1000 Suzuki.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“Probably getting a big bike to go through a series of blind bumpy corners at ridiculous speeds, knowing that the bike can do it, cause you have worked out your own set-up to suit your own style of riding.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“TT for the sheer magnitude of the task, Ulster GP for the best racing.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“If I’m racing with you I respect you, if I’m hanging back a bit, I don’t.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Probably winning the Senior Support consolation race at the Southern 100 in 2017. My phone nearly melted after the race, for some reason a lot of people were very happy.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“One that runs past all the local pubs. It would save me answering all the repetitive questions from the bar stool geniuses.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“John McGuinness for his professionalism, but for pure talent, Bruce Anstey.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Superbike”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap, I don’t think I’ve ever been on pole position, I never get going until the race.”
