In the three lap senior open race at Tandragee 100 it was Dan Kneen competing on Cookstown/Burrows Engineering GSX-R 1000 Suzuki who got the hole shot and lead at the end of the opening lap by over 1.4 seconds, Shaun Anderson held second place whilst Davy Morgan was in third place in front of Michael Sweeney.

Positions out front remained the same on lap 2 and at the line Dan Kneen was a comfortable race winner with Shaun Anderson on CN Management GSX-R 1000 Suzuki recording a fine second place finish. Davy Morgan edged out Michael Sweeney for third place after a brilliant race between them.
Paul Cranston finished in a highly creditable fifth place, Stephen Mcknight was sixth, David Hewson Aprilia mounted finished in seventh place in front of eighth place finisher Anthony Mccolgan.
