The open race at this years Tandragee 100 began in dry conditions all round, Dan Kneen proved his win at Cookstown 100 as a debutant was no fluke as he surged to the front of the race in front of Derek Mcgee, Jamie Hamilton and William Dunlop. After two laps of the four lap race the race was red flagged and therefore Dan Kneen was declared race winner.
Derek Mcgee finished in second place, Jamie Hamilton recorded his first top three finish for Wilson Craig racing in third place, William Dunlop on Tyco Suzuki by TAS supersport bike was leading supersport 600 rider finishing in fourth place. Keith Amor on his return to Tandragee 100 performed well finishing in fifth place on Site Sealants B&W racing CBR 600 Honda.
Shaun Anderson finished in a highly creditable sixth place on CN Management backed GSX-R 1000 Suzuki, Michael Sweeney was seventh on Martin Jones racing ZX10 Kawasaki. Seamus Elliott, Davy Morgan and James Kelly completed the top ten.
