By Steve Mercer is set to begin his 2015 road racing season at the Spring Cup National Road Races.
2012 spring cup feature race winner Steve is set to compete on his own teams CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade in superbike and feature spring cup race.
The eighth place finisher in 2013 superstock TT has an excellent record around Oliver’s Mount.
Which includes fifth place finish in 2009 Steve Henshaw international gold cup plus third position in feature race at the 2011 cock of the north road races.
Alongside the spring cup Steve is aiming this year to compete for the seventh time at the Isle of Man TT.
Since making his TT debut back in 2009 he has gone from strength to strength on the mountain course. Going into TT 2015 he has lapped close to the 128 mph mark whilst current personal best result is eighth position in 2013 superstock TT.
He holds start number 20 for superbike, superstock, senior races at TT 2015.
Steve Mercer’s entry into the 2015 Spring Cup National Road Races adds another top class all round road racer into what is arguably the best entry list for the spring cup in the 2010’s.
