Stats: Modern Times Fastest Frohburger Dreieck Exponents Update

54 racers since 2009 have lapped under the 1 minute 38 seconds mark, at Germany’s most famous active roads course, Frohburger Dreieck.

Recently crowned IRRC Superbike Champion Vincent Lonbois, remains the fastest racer in history at Frohburg.

Belgian roads ace Lonbois set in 2016, during the second IRRC Superbike encounter, an incredible lap record of 1 minute 33.369 seconds.

In addition to Lonbois, five more racers have accomplished the sub 1.34 seconds feat, they are the following:

Macau GP wins record holder Michael Rutter (1.33.412), Sebastien Le Grelle (1.33.679), Danny Webb (1.33.838).
Armoy ‘Race of Legends’, Southern 100 Solo Championship winner Davey Todd (1.33.917) and the hugely respected Didier Grams (1.33.927).

Rounding out the ten quickest Frohburger Dreieck exponents over the past 13 years are triple Irish Road Race Superbike Champion Derek Sheils (1.34.112), Czech star Marek Cerveny (1.34.127).

21 times TT winner Michael Dunlop (1.34.335) and twice Steve Henshaw Gold Cup winner, Ashcourt Racing’s Lee Johnston (1.34.397).
