Seven Times NW200 Winner Cooper To Tackle Imatranajo

Imatranajo race chiefs, have pulled off another coup, this time enticing seven times Northwest 200 winner Richard Cooper to the former Grand Prix circuit.

The diminutive rider, maiden Finnish roads scene tilt, sees him compete on YZF R6 Yamaha metal, thanks to Alister Russell’s Boyce Precision Engineering by Russell Racing team.

A race winner on debut in 2019 at the ‘Southern Hemisphere’s Isle of Man’, the Whanganui, New Zealand located Cemetery Circuit Races, there’s every chance, should all manner of factors align for similar circumstances at Imatranajo.

Others expected to join Cooper for IRRC Supersport/Superbike, Open Supersport/Superbike races next month include:

Home nation hero, the undoubted current ‘King of Imatra’ Erno Kostamo, IRRC SBK Championship leader, Adam McLean (Performance Racing Achterhoek).

Darryl Tweed (Never Be Clever Racing), Laurent Hoffmann (Hoffmann by MRP), Marek Cerveny, Ilja Caljouw and ‘AKA Driver’ Gary Johnson (Team Schleizer Dreieck).
