Speaking at last night’s 2024 Southern 100 press launch, Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Joe Yeardsley confirmed that he is Scarborough bound for April’s Bob Smith Spring Cup.
The Spin Arena supported rider first tackled North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’, at the Gold Cup meet of 2022, finishing amongst the speediest debutants of modern times.
2023 outings at Scarborough saw the reigning Cain Road Race runner-up, consistently contend for elite finishes, bank three top 3 finishes, one individually covering Supersport, Super Twin, Classic Superbike categories.
An unquestioned one to watch this year, around the 2.43 miles long Oliver’s Mount Road Race Circuit, it’s sub fifty days till race fans get to find out how he performs, at the 2024 UK roads season opener.
Racers set to join Yeardsley on the solo races’ entry-list include to name but a few, Gold Cup podium finisher Gary McCoy, Adrian Harrison, Russell Brook, Tom Weeden, Barry Furber, Moto CJ Racing’s Andy Jackson, and Stephen ‘Degsy’ Degnan.
