Leading the entry is the Padgetts racing team running John Mcguinness & Bruce Anstey on the Padgetts Honda superbikes both of them will be looking for top results. Last year John Mcguinness finished second to Ryan Farquhar in the feature Scarborough gold cup race and will be looking to go one better this year whilst John’s team mate Bruce Anstey will make a welcome return to Oliver’s Mount for the first since Bruce last competed at the Scarborough gold cup which was back in 2003.

Jamie will be looking to end his racing season on a high after having achieved so many top results at many of the top road races so far this season .

Another rising star on the roads is Dean Harrison from Bradford who was runner up at the Cock of the North road races in July. Dean who only started racing on roads circuits a few seasons ago is quickly becoming one of road racings future stars and will be aiming to mix it with the works teams at this years Scarborough gold cup on the RC Express racing Kawasaki and as well in the 600 class on the Ian Bell Motorcycles Yamaha R6 bike. Winners around Oliver’s Mount this season Derek Shiels and Michael Pearson are entered both in the feature Scarborough gold cup race on Honda Fireblades where both will be looking to cause a surprise or two against the likes of John Mcguinness, Guy Martin, Michael Dunlop and William Dunlop.
