Savvas Kosmidis Ready For The Mountain Course

Savvas Kosmidis is ready to make his debut on the Mountain Course, at the 2016 Manx Grand Prix.

Originally from Greece, Savvas moved to the USA in 2006, in 2013 he competed in the championship cup series, following years have seen him secure two national titles, finish overall top amateur in the north east in 2014.

Plus he has competed in several open road hill climb events, where he has recorded many a top three finish.

Having won the United States national lightweight supersport class at Daytona in 2014, Savvas decided afterwards that he wanted to take on a new challenge, in the form of the Manx GP.

Throughout 2015 Savvas has done a lot of research into the iconic meeting, deciding what bike to compete on, what classes to compete in and studying the most famous road racing circuit in the world.

For his first venture into pure road racing, he is set to pilot his own teams Olympus Racing ER6 Kawasaki in the newcomers b and super twin races.

For every overseas rider, the travelling, getting their bikes over, the logistics is a huge undertaking for all of them aiming to compete on the Isle of Man.

It’s no different for Savvas, but he’s determined to accomplish a lifetimes ambition and be as competitive as he can be, around the magical road race circuit, that is the Mountain Course.
