Ryan Farquhar enjoyed more wins around Oliver’s Mount at this years Scarborough gold cup. In opening super twins race Ryan competing on his own teams ER6 Kawasaki was battling for top three placing before reliability issues struck.
Next race on the horizon for the seven time Duke road race rankings champion was senior b race 1. Following a superb all round performance on Team York backed 1100 F1 Suzuki Ryan secured race victory his 102nd win around Oliver’s Mount.
Classic superbike race 1 was next up and the three times TT winner recorded second place finish to round off day one of racing at 2014 Scarborough gold cup in top style.

Second classic superbike race proved to be another momentous race for the 2011 Steve Henshaw international gold cup winner as he acquired victory number 103 around the mount plus his second win of the weekend for team York Suzuki.
Senior b race two looked set to see Ryan record win number 104 but then after issues on final lap of the race he crossed the line in second position. But overall another excellent two days of racing around Oliver’s Mount for Ryan Farquhar who has thoroughly enjoyed overall his 2014 road racing season.
