By Finland’s leading pure road racer Erno Kostamo, has outlined his machinery stable for 2026 roads scene objectives.
Back astride the RVS Motorsport M1000RR BMW, the former Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix winner will additionally switch to V2 Panigale Ducati tackle for Supersport action, thanks to support from Zerowaste Motorsport and Milwaukee.
Events wise, the Joensuu based racer is set to return to the ‘Majors,’ the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200, TT Races, Macau GP.
Southern 100, Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ expeditions are-confirmed as is his nation’s top real roads festival, Imatranajo.
Closing in on fifteen times World Champion Giacomo Agostini’s Imatranajo wins record, Kostamo admitted recently via Facebook, that this ambition is firmly in his sights.
“The most important goal is, of course, to stay in one piece. I now have a streak of 14 wins at Imatra, so Giacomo Agostini’s record run of 16 victories there is only two wins away, and it’s possible to beat it.”
