Russell Brook, recorded his best ever results at Oliver’s Mount, at the Cock O’The North Road Races, following consistent front running challenges in the support races.
His racing career at England’s only pure roads venue, is a unique one, given that prior to recent events, the last time he competed at Scarborough, was back in 1992.
After 25 years away from race action, Russ never expected to be so competitive on his return to the “Mini TT”.
Last weekend at Scarborough, his top draw collection of results, where as follows:
Junior B Race 1: 3rd
Junior B Race 2: 3rd
Solo Open B Race 1: 4th
Solo Open B Race 2: 6th
Along the way lapping under the 1 minute 56 second mark, Russell is already hugely looking forward, to the next Oliver’s Mount meeting, the Barry Sheene Festival Powered by Suzuki.
Where he is aiming, to continue his consistent improvement, event on event, at the mount.
