Same as in 2024, Senior TT runner-up Josh Brookes, opened his 2025 race season expedition at Sydney Motorsport Park, tackling the steadily growing in popularity, St George Motorcycle Club organised Summer Night Series.
Victorious during last month’s opening series round, this week’s competition would see the former Northwest 200 lap record holder, snap up another race win, following close action aside Mike Jones, Glenn Allerton and JJ Nahlous.
The final Pirelli Unlimited F1/F2 race, starting at 10:09 PM (local time) saw the twice British Superbike Champion, aboard DAO Racing supported Honda apparatus, place P2 under five seconds behind prior featured R1M Yamaha propelled Mike Jones.
Confirmed for a 2025 BSB project with DAO Racing, there remains a prominent possibility that Australia’s rapidest Mountain Course pilot will be travelling back to IOM shores in May.
Since a dynamic first TT tenure in 2013, he’s since gradually stepped up his speed, competitiveness to the point of now holding the fifth quickest TT racer in history, accolade.
Post his run to second in last year’s Milwaukee Senior race, the Bringelly, New South Wales rider stated:
“To me I feel like I’ve won, so many times I’ve ridden past the enclosure where the top three are and today they were waving me in, it was a beautiful moment.”
