Road Racer’s Adventures: No Limits, Croft
Multiple Manx GP podium finisher Joe Akroyd excelled and some at the latest No Limits Racing round at Croft, proving the cream of the UK Super Twins class.

Akroyd who’s plans to tackle the Le Mans World Endurance round, were thwarted due to travel restrictions, was in blistering form all weekend at Croft, powering to a quadruple of class triumphs.

The only time the Yorkshireman and his CF Moto 700 steed were beaten, was during qualifying by Southern 100 winner Jack Fowler.

Fowler although defeated by Akroyd in all four Super Twins races, still had an impressive results collection, taking four rostrum finishes.

Same notion applied to Brough’s Mike Booth, finisher third or better from the four CFMOTO UK Super Twin race stints.

Pirelli Super Series 600/1000 wise, 2013 TT Privateers Champion Dan Cooper, Immingham’s Craig Neve contended strongly for victories whilst added pure road racers taking home solid finishes included:

Cowton Racing’s Dominic Herbertson, Jonathan Perry, Forest Dunn, Mark ‘Percy’ Goodings, Lewis Arrowsmith, Bob Smith Spring Cup support race victor Russell Brook, KTS Racing’s Jamie Coward and reigning Junior & Senior Manx GP Champion Nathan Harrison.

Moving onto the topic of Saturday’s 3 hours long Endurance race, Josh Daley put aside an incident in the opening Super Series 1000 race to score a superb third place finish alongside Dafabet Racing’s Rob Hodson.

Daley/Hodson between them on route to securing third overall, completed between them no less than 124 laps of the 2.1 miles long Croft Circuit.

Finishing one place ahead of Daley/Hodson was the Delkevic Racing squad which featured twice Supersport TT winner Gary Johnson.

Ten places further back in 12th but third in their class was the EMR Racing pair of Keith Pringle and welcome racing returnee, former TT Privateers Championship runner-up Russ Mountford.

Tom Robinson/Gaz Evans placed eighth whilst Richard Charlton and the previously mentioned Dominic Herbertson, had also taken a top ten finish before been disqualified due to a control tyre infringement.
