Lap records a plenty was one of the prime themes from Saturday’s clockwise Jurby Airfield action. Elite performers included triple Manx GP winner, Southern 100 front runner Michael Evans.
Unbeaten across Super Twin, Supersport, 1000cc race stints, the final open centre Championship race saw Wilcock Consulting backed Evans set a blistering new lap record of 1 minute 05.748 seconds.
The Crowe brothers Ryan & Callum were also in record breaking form on route to successive Sidecar victories.
Quickest three wheeling newcomers in TT history, Saturday’s second Sidecar race at Jurby would see the Haven Homes supported pair lower the outright lap record to 1 minute 08.237 seconds.
