Multiple esteemed, high-level, respected national, international road racing pilots sampled over the past weekend, the popular Wirral 100 Motor Club ran Anglesey Grand meeting.

Famous faces competing included Irish Road Race Superbike Champion Michael Sweeney.

Top moments for the Skerries racer included Classic Superbike victories and success in the sole Junior Open race.

Additionally, he triumphed from a compelling, intriguing second Anglesey Grand encounter, finishing just 0.454 ahead of overall Anglesey Grand Champion for 2022, talented Manxman Marcus Simpson.

Three wheeling wise, the father son duo Steve Ramsden/Matty Ramsden starred throughout, claiming a hat-trick of race wins.

Fellow Mountain Course regular Alan Founds, made an excellent return to racing, securing four finishes of no lower than fourth alongside Jake Lowther.

Twice TT Privateers Champion Jamie Coward, enjoyed success on Super Twins, Supersport, 1000cc Honda machinery whilst others impressing at Anglesey included:

Respective triple Super Twins, Pre/Post 2011 Supersport race winners Barry Furber and Joe Yeardsley, Adrian Kershaw, leading Manx GP newcomer Paul Cassidy.
