4.6 seconds clear of the chasing pack, triple Irish Road Race SBK Champion Sheils showed again why he’s not to be underestimated around purpose built circuit racing venues.
Fellow countryman, twice Junior Manx GP winner Michael Sweeney alongside performing strongly in the Superbike races, took a dominant hat-trick of Super Twin victories.
Another top calibre roads pilot to take a race win was Adam McLean, following success in a thrilling, captivating opening Supersport race.
