The final CRMC (Classic Racing Motorcycle Club) meeting of 2021 at Croft wasn’t short of compelling competition as racers from wide ranging backgrounds battled it out for Championship titles.
For Dominic Herbertson, his prodigious yesteryear racing campaign concluded in first class fashion with no less than seven race victories gained, including three successive overall Classic 350 wins.
Such has been the multi Mountain Course rostrum finisher’s form aboard the potent Davies Motorsport Honda, Yamaha mounts that the 10b ACU Classic 350 Champion’s CRMC wins total across 2021 is in excess of 30.
Joining Herbertson in enjoying a successful CRMC season finale included the UK’s only full time IRRC entrant this year, Mark Purslow who banked a hat trick of 750 class triumphs.
David Tetley, Andy Hornby shared the Lansdowne Cup honours, Barry Sheene Trophy top three finisher John Dieterman contended throughout for yesteryear Superbike spoils whilst others to have dabbled on countless occasions with closed roads action, showcasing a prominent turn of pace included:
Classic TT/Manx GP winner Olie Linsdell, Alan Oversby, Hefyn Owen, Alex Sinclair, Will Loder, Scarborough’s Nick Anderson and Sidecar stalwarts Tony Thirkell/Trevor Johnson.
