James Cowton is looking forward to the supersport and super-twin races at this years Southern 100. In 2012 James made his Southern 100 debut achieving a top 3 finish in the 125/400/450 race when competing on a Honda NC30 400. For this years Southern 100 James is competing on a ER6 Kawasaki for the KMR Kawasaki powered by Vauxhall team and on a CC engineering backed CBR 600 Honda.
James said that his main aims for this years Southern 100 is to enjoy the meeting and do the best that he can in the supersport and super-twin races. At the post TT races James achieved a 4th place finish only narrowly missing out on a podium finish in the super-twin race.
James is greatly looking forward to this years Manx grand prix. James is competing in the junior, super-twin and senior Manx grand prix races. The main aims for James at this years Manx grand prix is to potentially achieve podium finishes in all the races that he competes in.
Its a busy time in the road racing season for James as after the Southern 100 James is competing at the Cock of the north road races at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough. In all James Cowton is a rising star on roads circuits and one that is sure to have a hugely bright future in front of him.
