Pictured here is Rico Penzkofer’s BMW SR1000 superstock bike from this years Isle of Man TT races. Rico has announced his retirement at this years Macau grand prix having finished the race in the top 20. In his road racing career Rico achieved a 12th place finish in the senior TT of 2010 on his own teams BMW SR1000 superbike whilst also lapping the TT circuit at over 125.9 mph.
Also in Rico’s road racing career he took victory in the main open race at the 2008 Frohburg road races. Alongside this Rico has competed at the North West 200 where he made his debut in 2009 and has also competed for many years at the Macau grand prix. Rico despite only having a short racing career on the roads circuits has been one of the fastest riders from Europe to race at the top international road race circuits.
