By Hi all within the race guide I found out a few interesting things, one is their is 63 entries for the new lightweight TT race although this is now 60 entries due to some riders now not entering the class, but still good number of bikes for a first time class at the TT. Not listed in the race guide for starters in the new lightweight TT race is Steve Mercer who does have a mini-twin 650 for the TT so not to sure which start number he will have for this class.
The returning former TT privateers champion of 2010 James Mcbride is on Yamaha’s for all three big bike races superstock, superbike and the senior race. At number 78 in the race guide for the supersport TT is Dan Frear on a Yamaha R6 and watch out for him to set some good lap times and same for Lee Vernon also on a Yamaha R6. There is only one MV Augusta in all classes this year to be rode by Mick Godfrey who finisher on the podium in the Manx Grand Prix classic superbike race last year in the supersport TT class. Three Aprilla’s are entered in the big bike races the Splitlath Redmond team of Mark Miller and Mark Buckley are joined on Aprilla’s by sidecar TT winning passenger Dan Sayle who will ride a Aprilla RSV4 for the Crossan Motorcycles/Visor shop.com team.
