Disclosed this afternoon, famous faces, event stalwarts, perennial front running contenders a plenty are set to tackle the new-look, nine-day Manx Grand Prix.
Classic races wise, star names entered include Supersport TT lap record holder Michael Dunlop, 23 times TT winner John McGuinness MBE, TT Privateers Champion Jamie Coward.
Gary Johnson, Michael Rutter, Team ACR Kawasaki’s David Johnson, James Hillier, Dominic Herbertson, Davies Motorsport team-mate Lee Johnston and making a welcome return to race action, ten times TT winner Ian Lougher.
Joining them on the entry list are the Greenall Racing trio of Derek Sheils, Rob Hodson and Nathan Harrison plus Team Classic Suzuki’s Phil Crowe.
Moving onto the Junior/Senior MGP classes, ones to watch will include Jamie Williams, 2019 Junior race runner-up Stephen Smith, 2014 Newcomers B race winner Dean Osborne.
‘Tommy Club’ member Dan Ingham, Spain’s Victor Lopez Santos, Francesco Curinga and fellow Countryman Andrea Majola.
Reminder the 2022 Manx Grand Prix, kicks off on the 21st August with competition concluding on the 29th August with the Senior, Classic Superbike races.
