Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT organisers the Manx Motor Cycle Club are planning to implement changes to the practice week schedule for this August’s Mountain Course based events.

Amongst the proposed schedule changes include competitive action beginning with a Sunday afternoon practice session on the 23rd August.

Added planned schedule alterations include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday night practice stints alternating across all classes plus another afternoon session (Friday 28th August).

Speaking about the proposed schedule changes to Manx GP, Classic TT practice sessions, Manx Motor Cycle Club Chairman Peter Maddocks, stated:

“There have been concerns for some time about the lack of day light in the evenings reducing the number of practice laps for all our riders and feel the Sunday and Friday afternoon sessions will help to alleviate the problem.

The re-vamped schedule will mitigate the demands that are placed on riders and volunteers including the TT Marshals Association and local residents.”
