Traditionally held on the 26th of December, the Mallory Park, Plum Pudding Races are England’s ‘Boxing Day Bonanza’ equivalent to New Zealand’s premier street racing festival, the Cemetery Circuit Races.
Since the mid 1970’s, the meet has gained diverse two-wheel, four-wheel entry lists.
Renowned entrants of recent times include former Dundrod 150 race winner David ‘Action’ Jackson (TT Races competitor in 2018, 2019 and 2022), Oliver’s Mount Scarborough specialist Lee Brocklebank.
Last Friday’s racing featured new Parker Car Transport Racing signing, GSX-R 1000 Suzuki propelled Don Gilbert.
The top five Senior Manx Grand Prix finisher, Steve Henshaw Gold Cup podium clincher went onto haul third, fourth place finishes, ending 2025 race endeavours in solid, consistent fashion.
As reported three days ago, Gilbert is planning to make his TT Races debut next year astride R6/R1 Yamaha’s.
