Pastures New Beckons For Austrian Ace Trummer

Pastures new beckons for Austria’s top international road racer Julian Trummer, after parting company with WH Racing.

Over the past two seasons, the 2016 Newcomers A Manx GP runner-up roads craft, has improved ten-fold.

Highlights of 2022 included a race win at Cookstown, top twelve finish within the feature Northwest 200 Superbike race and a top six finish on debut at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix.

In terms of his 2023 roads scene campaign, you can’t but not pinpoint last summer’s record breaking, history making TT Races.

A top twenty finisher times three, the RST Superbike race saw Trummer become the quickest Austrian, non-UK racer from Europe around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

His current PB lap speed of 128.638 mph makes him presently, the 39th fastest racer in TT history.

Now previous suitors WH Racing, who provided the ideal environment, machinery for him to progress on IOM shores, stated recently via Facebook about the conclusion of working with the affable Austrian:

“The time has come for us and Julian to pursue new challenges for the 2024 season.

Over the last four years we have worked with Julian, and we could not have wished for more from him. We have grown as a team and have achieved some great things together.

We have shared some fantastic memories and more than anything has bonded as lifelong friends.

We cannot thank Julian enough for the last seasons and we wish Julian the absolute best of luck for the future.

Over the coming weeks we will be evaluating options for the 2024 season and hopefully putting some plans in place.”
