Oxford Team Ducati have sealed a deal with James Hillier, which sees the 2013 Lightweight TT winner, pilot the outfits 888 Ducati, in August’s Superbike Classic TT.
The Celeres Racing run team, are delighted to have secured the services of the fifth fastest rider in TT history.
Team Owner, Stafford Evans stated:
“It’s a real honour to be able to replicate the Oxford team of 25 years ago. I actually think that with this bike and with James at the ‘bars, we have a real shot at bringing home the top prize. I am very excited!”
Celebrating 25 years since the Oxford Products Ducati’s first graced the Mountain Course, James Hillier will carry start number five, the same as used in 1992 by Trevor Nation, who went onto finish eighth in the Formula one race.

Adding his thoughts, on jockeying essentially a replica of the iconic machines from the early 90’s, James said:
“I have a real ambition to win the Superbike race of course, but I will also make every effort to be the fastest man around the Island on a Ducati 888.”
