The opening 250 race at this years Scarborough gold cup produced a close and exciting race between Michael Dunlop and William Dunlop. Michael competing on the Cookstown/Burrows engineering RS250 Honda lead throughout but was pushed right till the end of the race by William Dunlop on the MD racing RS250 Honda.
Ian Lougher competing on the Scott racing RS250 Honda came home in a good third place whilst Seamus Elliott achieved a superb fourth place finish. James Cowton achieved a top 5 finish whilst Davy Morgan completed the top six. In all this 250 race was a great race throughout which saw Michael Dunlop, William Dunlop and Ian Lougher all riding superbly in pursuit of race victory.
