Next to feature in Road Racing News, One Incredible IRRC Moment series, is Welsh racing adventurer, Classic TT podium finisher Rhys Hardisty.
Respectively 14th, 15th in last year’s IRRC Superbike, Supersport Championships, the multiple Pre-TT Classic race winner’s favourite recollection from his time sampling IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) events to date, is as follows:
“Well actually, I enjoyed the whole atmosphere and the people of the paddock, the riders and teams, organisers, fans the whole thing.
The circuits are fantastic. Stand out circuit for me was Horice, although not my best round it was a great venue again with great people.
I didn’t quite feel I committed as I could have and should have although deliberately, the Manx was a week later, and my mind was completely distracted by the prep etc needed for the Manx.
Imatra is also a mega circuit, iconic. Although like I say I really loved all the circuits. For me the standout moment was ‘IRRC’ incredible. Thanks for the memories to all.”
