2024 Oliver’s Mount 400cc Champion, his answers to the set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“First memory that comes to mind would be bump starting me dad’s old Matchless G50 on the exhaust side and having my legs blown off by the megaphone or me and my brother hiding under the old tire bay and being dragged out by Peter Hillaby.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“My favourite thing about Racing at the Mount is it’s my home town and to be able to just absolutely send it around what is essentially an open road.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“My favourite section has got to be mere to the back straight, start stop left right boom on the power.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“My best moment so far is me and Lissy Whitmore flying down Mountside, banging bars thinking I hope she brakes soon, thankfully she did.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“All time Olivers Mount hero has got to be Deano (Dean Harrison), King of the mount for me.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“One machine I would trade a left nut for a ride on around OM would be an RS250 (Honda).”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Magic”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“I haven’t quite found myself a rival yet so for now we’ll go with sea fret.”
