Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“My first memory was turning up to race, having never seen the track, looking up from the pits and thinking where is the track, then Dave Suddes almost rolled the race truck down the banking in the pits!”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“The atmosphere and everyone involved, it’s like a big family.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“From the start line to Drury’s, it fast and narrow.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Qualifying for the 600 B race then moving to the A race (2024 Barry Sheene Classic) and finishing mid pack on a 26 year old standard 600.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“It’s got to be Dave Suddes. We raced close for years before he talked me into racing at Scarborough, Roddy Taylor, as well his knowledge is second to none.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“I would love to ride a modern 600.”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Special”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“I respect anyone who I’m on track with, but it has to be Roddy Taylor.”
