Sixth in last season’s USBK Super Twins Championship, his answers to the set of questions, are as follows: are as follows:

Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?

“Pulling into town for the 2024 spring cup. We had got the midnight boat and drove down the country so a little sleep deprived, stopped off at Lidl for some supplies, looked up and spotted the hairpin and thought this will be fun.”

Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?

“The format of the weekend, you can come with one bike and get a decent bit of mileage down.”

Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?

“The run into Drury’s and all the way down to mountside, from a slow hairpin you end up on the limiter in 5th then trying to hook it back to 1st and keep everything in line down the hill, really fun section.”

Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?

“Qualifying fairly well at the Gold Cup in the rain (I think 6th was happy for our 2nd visit), I heard a few horror stories about the grip in the wet, but we just chipped away and kept things nice and smooth.”

Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?

“Coming from NI I haven’t really followed the racing at Scarborough much, but from listening to a lot of stories it would have to be Lougher (Ian) and seeing him on track at the Gold Cup he’s still a class act.”

Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?

“I rode for TH racing at Aberdare Park last year, their Honda 600 was the best handling thing I’ve rode in years. It would be top of my list.”

Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?

“Busy. There’s a lot to keep an eye on especially when you are learning the place.”

Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?

“Haven’t been going long enough to pick out a rival as we are progressing further up the grid, but anyone that turns up deserves respect.”
