Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“I was a late starter to Oliver’s Mount, first time there was in 2019 with friends to camp and watch for the weekend.
I didn’t race or have a bike there but after that weekend I went home and purchased my first track bike.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“The atmosphere in the paddock, how everyone will go above and beyond to help anyone out.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Jefferies jumps and coming into the start finish and seeing all the spectators on the fence line.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“First year as a newcomer (2022) finishing P2 in Supersport B-race 4 in the wet after qualifying for the feature race and this was first time been on a grid, with big names of the sport.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Got to be Ian Lougher, the way he goes round there on older machinery is still impressive and still involved there and supporting young riders.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“I’d like to ride classic superbike around there if the opportunity arose, but I’d like to get back there on anything, due to moving up to 1000cc I now don’t have an eligible bike to ride.”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Tight”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“Due to only riding there for a handful of events, anyone that was on that grid is a rival. It’s an Oliver’s mount thing that no two races are the same and always racing different people.”
