Last year’s Oliver’s Mount CB 500 Champion, his answers to the set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“When my friend Ryan Whitehall raced there, really opened my eyes to the events because it was one, I’d never really seen much of before.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“Just the events in general, everyone that runs it are so friendly, and the fans are always friendly.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Favourite section would have to be the back straight coming into Monument, fast blind entry that can catch you out so easily.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Winning the CB500 Championship.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Mr BDS himself, Big Dave (Suddes).”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“I’d say probably an SRAD 750 (Suzuki) or a Classic Superbike.”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Footpath”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“There’s 3, Don Gilbert, Grant Whitaker and Scott Aitkin.”
