North West 200 – Alastair Seeley Dominates Opening Superstock Practice Session

Alastair Seeley dominated the opening superstock practice session at the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200.

Tyco BMW rider Alastair clocked lap time of 4 minutes 32.953 seconds to finish comfortably faster than his nearest pursuer Michael Dunlop.

Michael competing on his own teams YZF R1M Yamaha showed world class quality around the triangle as fellow R1M Yamaha mounted rider Dean Harrison impressed hugely.

Mar Train Racing’s Dean throughout the practice session showed highly accomplished speed.

North West 200 superstock lap record holder Horst Saiger proved his credentials as he piloted his own teams ZX10R Kawasaki to fourth fastest time.

William Dunlop ended a productive first day of practice at the North West in solid and consistent fashion by finishing fifth fastest.

Penz 13.com Bathams by BMW Motorrad’s Michael Rutter sealed sixth position in practice as the North West 200 legend proved that he has the pace to be in contention for superstock success this year around the triangle.

Guy Martin finished a highly creditable seventh quickest as Gary Johnson competing on GB Moto Racing ZX10R Kawasaki was eighth fastest.

Completing the top ten in practice where Jackson Racing’s Conor Cummins and Martin Jessopp competing on Riders Motorcycles backed S1000RR BMW.
