50 plate-holder for the 1000cc races, former Steve Henshaw Gold Cup runner-up Mike Norbury, is back on TT racing duty this year.
Fifth from the most recent Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ encounter, an undoubted Oliver’s Mount Scarborough specialist, Norbury is looking to push through new goals, new aspirations on the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.
24th within the Senior race of 2022, the Manchester racer’s present personal best result arose in 2019, when placing sixth in the now defunct TT Zero class. Lap speed wise, Norbury’s top speed is currently 121.822 mph.
16th post the conclusion of last August’s Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix, his first TT venture since 2022 sees him Suzuki mounted thanks to a partnership between Talk of The Town and Team York Suzuki Team Manager Kevin Pearson forming Talk of The Town Racing by Motul Oils.
Norbury’s new big-bike steed is the same Team Classic Suzuki machine, taken by Shaun Anderson to a 130-mph plus-lap in last year’s RST Superbike TT.
