No Three Wheeling Thrills At Barry Sheene Classic

Revealed today via Oliver’s Mount Racing’s official Facebook page, there will no Sidecar competition at the Barry Sheene Classic meeting that is hoped to run over three days.

Adding something different, Sidecars have excited, enthused, captivated, enthralled, amazed over the years fans of all generations at Scarborough.

Oliver’s Mount Racing have stated that they hope three wheeling action will return for the prestigious Gold Cup event but that it is dependent upon approval from the ACU (Auto Cycle Union).

Additional Barry Sheene Classic updates announced this afternoon included some hugely important news for prospective event attendees.

The following was stated on the Oliver’s Mount Racing Facebook page:

“Admission is only available with pre-purchased ticket and is currently limited to 2,500 per day.

Unfortunately there are no paddock passes available for this event and it is with much regret that The race programme for The Barry Sheene Event will not feature sidecars.

Full refunds will be available should either of these events not going ahead.”
