Mountain Course Stalwart Hembury Tandragee 100 Bound

Experienced Mountain Course exponent Lee Hembury is Tandragee 100 bound in May, having confirmed recently that he plans to make the voyage to the hugely popular event for the first time.

Glastonbury’s Hembury who’s Mountain Course resume includes a very respectable 27th place finish, within the Bennetts Lightweight race of TT 2017, will pilot YZF R6 Yamaha, S1000RR BMW machinery at Tandragee, plus will also compete on his own teams steeds at the prior Cookstown 100.

Speaking via Facebook about his upcoming maiden Tandragee, Cookstown ventures, plus additional 2019 roads plans, he candidly stated:

“This has always been on our bucket list (Cookstown/Tandragee), and this year we are giving it ago on both the Yamaha R6 and the new addition BMW S1000RR.

We also have some more pure roads events in the Southern 100 and a possible return to Aberdare Park. We will also be taking in a few rounds of the NG calendar.

With TT 2019 entries put in, we are still awaiting news as the closing date is not until March.”
