Morris Aiming For TT Step Up

Kidderminster’s Martin Morris is aiming to step up to the TT Races this year, after making last year an impressive Manx Grand Prix debut.

Last August Morris ended his first Mountain Course racing stint, with a strong run to eighth in the four-lap Junior race.

Second quickest newcomer, he registered a best lap speed of 111.065 mph (20 minutes 22.960 seconds).

Moving forwards towards 2023, his prospective TT challenge sees him supported again by Dave Hewson’s Obsession Engineering squad.

Disclosed via TT stalwart Hewson’s You Tube channel, the Obsession outfit are building a brand-new Super Twin for the 22nd fastest racer from last September’s 70th Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough Gold Cup meeting.

Alongside the Twins class, Morris also has designs on tackling the Supersport, Superstock, Superbike, Senior races, should he prove successful with his entries.

Reminder TT 2023 featuring a ten race schedule, runs from the 29th of May to the 10th of June.
