By Announced this morning, race action at the returning Mid Antrim 150, has been cancelled.
Organisers stated via Facebook in succinct terms, why competition today is null and void.
“Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control, race day of the Mid Antrim 150 road race is cancelled.”
According to various eye witnesses, vast amounts of oil, glass has been left around the Clough circuit. Full details around this topic, are still to be made official.
This is a sad end to the 2022 Irish road racing season and I send my strongest, positive thoughts to event organisers, who have tirelessly grafted to bring the Mid Antrim 150 back to the road race calendar.
