Aiming to re-write the misfortunes from his previous Imatranajo (Jarno Saarinen Circuit Imatra) expedition, 25 times TT winner Michael Dunlop is confirmed to travel back to the Nordic nations’ top real road racing event.

Back in 2022, ‘Maverick’ competing on Penz 13 supplied Honda machinery, failed to finish all three Superbike races following a spate of technical issues.

For his Imatra return, the Super Twins, Supersport TT lap record holder four-stroke tackle is still to be 100 percent disclosed.

Set to battle the likes of current King of Imatranajo Erno Kostamo, IRRC Superbike Championship leader Lukas Maurer, David Datzer, Jorn Hamberg, Finnish roads scene fans, are sure to be treated to spectacular big-bike contests.

Back in 1986, the legend that is Joey Dunlop enjoyed success in the Formula TT World Championship round at Imatra.
