There’s no stopping Peter Hickman at present, at the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix, as he continued his unbeaten run in qualifying, consolidating Supersport pole position.
As in Superstock qualifying, his main pursuer was Dean Harrison. There was nothing in it between the TROOPER Triumph and Silicone Engineering Racing riders, as just 0.124 of a second covered them, following lap speeds respectively of 127.333 and 127.258 mph.

Bruce Anstey (126.399) sealed third place on the grid for Saturday’s Supersport encounters, whilst Padgetts team mate Lee Johnston (126.370) completing the front row, is beginning to find some good form.
Positions five and six within qualifying where sealed by the Dunlop’s William (125.995) and Michael (125.984), with both ideally placed for front running challenges in the six lap races.
Seventh quickest Conor Cummins (125.912) is another contender for rostrum finishes, keep an eye as well on eighth/ninth fastest Christian Elkin (125.318) and Derek McGee (125.269).
Rounding out the top ten overall from qualifying, is rising roads star Paul Jordan (124.791), aboard the Evolution Camping backed YZF R6 Yamaha.
Looking towards the leading newcomers, Shirlaws Motorcycles backed Adam Lyon (122.318) and Team ILR’s Joe Thompson (122.250), where both extremely impressive in finishing 19th and 20th fastest respectively.
