Maintaining his sparkling form from yesterday, Peter Hickman just held off a determined Dean Harrison, to clinch pole position, for the Ulster GP Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Superstock race.
Propelling the stock Smiths Racing BMW to lap speed of 132.334 mph, just one tenth of a second separated him and Silicone Engineering Racing’s Harrison, who also dipped over the 132 mph mark.

Behind the pace setters, the battle for the final spots on the front row, alongside Hickman and Harrison, where clinched by Dan Kneen (130.732) and Radcliffe’s Racing’s Jamie Coward (130.425).
Row two for the scheduled opening race on Saturday, is filled by David Johnson (130.303), Derek Sheils (130.247), Lee Johnston (129.557) and Michael Dunlop (129.005).
Finalising the top ten overall, following Wednesday and Thursday’s qualifying sessions are leading Honda runner, Padgett’s Conor Cummins (128.849) and Derek McGee (128.437).
Others to impress included 13th quickest Phil Crowe (127.994), 16th fastest Alistair Kirk (127.360) and PHM Promotions backed Mark Goodings (126.467).
It’s worth noting as well, that 12 of the top 20 qualifiers, where S1000RR BMW mounted, an example of the domination taking Dean Harrison out of the equation! that the German manufacturer has at present, within the Superstock class.
