MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix: Harrison Banks Supersport Qualifying Honours

With racing delayed at present due to pesky rain showers embarking upon Dundrod, it’s a good time to reflect on this afternoon’s timed Supersport practice session.

Banking Supersport pole thanks to nudging over the 127.4 mph mark, which equated lap time wise to 3 minutes 29.043 seconds, was Silicone Engineering Racing’s in top form Dean Harrison.

Harrison just over nine tenths clear of Superbike pole sitter Conor Cummins (3.29.954), is showcasing the same pace that took him to Monster Energy Supersport race 2 honours at TT 2018.

Fellow ZX-6R Kawasaki mounted racer Adam McLean (3.30.244) third quickest in qualifying, wasn’t to far off the pace the of new big bike Ulster GP qualifying record holder Cummins.
