Bruce Anstey showcased his proven pedigree on supersport machinery, by finishing quickest in supersport qualifying, at the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix.

Piloting the Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 600 Honda, Bruce lapped at 125.944 mph to finish quickest by 1.7 seconds over Ian Hutchinson (124.901 mph) on the Came BPT Yamaha.
Conor Cummins (124.530 mph) made it two Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda’s in the top three in qualifying, whilst Dean Harrison, Silicone Engineering Racing ZX6R Kawasaki, fourth fastest, continues to impress around Dundrod.
Next up was William Dunlop on his own teams YZF R6 Yamaha, TROOPER backed Peter Hickman and 13 times TT winner Michael Dunlop.
Mar Train Racing’s Dan Kneen was also firmly on the pace as was new addition to the East Coast Racing team, Gary Johnson.
Completing the top ten fastest riders in supersport qualifying was Paul Jordan, B&W Racing CBR 600 Honda.
