Mar Train racing have confirmed they are to have official Yamaha UK backing for 2015 and 2016 road racing seasons. The team announced recently that they will be competing in 2015 at the Isle of Man TT, North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and at selected national road races.
Yamaha UK are delighted to be working with Mar Train racing in 2015 and 2016 and are confident that the highly regarded team can secure standout results over the next two years. Its not been announced yet as to who will competing for the team which enjoyed a successful years road racing in 2014 with Dean Harrison.
But it’s looking like an announcement is not far away and multiple riders are in contention for one of the marque rides in the paddock at TT 2015. The new R1 Yamaha is anticipated as been a highly competitive superbike whilst the R6 Yamaha is proven at all international road races.
Most recently this year Alastair Seeley was victorious on Mar Train racing’s R6 Yamaha at the 2014 Vauxhall international North West 200 plus back to back fourth place finishes in supersport races at TT 2014 with Dean Harrison prove the R6 Yamaha is a top all round package.

The announcement of Mar Train racing working with Yamaha UK over the next two years is tremendous news for road racing and road racing fans across the world. Despite having only competed twice at the Isle of Man TT expect them to be in contention for podium finishes across all classes next year as they bid to star on the mountain course.
