Manx Grand Prix second practice news

Mike Minns on the Merlin Sidecars Yamaha R6 was fastest overall tonight in both the senior and junior Manx Grand Prix classes. Mike lapped at an average speed of 112.441 mph with James Coward second fastest at 111.4 mph. 3rd fastest was Paul Smyth in the 600 class with Trevor Ferguson being the fastest 750 rider. The practice session was cut short due to mist on the mountain which meant the newcomers and classic practice sessions only did one lap before going back to the paddock.

Tuesday sees the third practice session of the Manx Grand Prix this year which will see again a full array of bikes from 125 cc up to 750cc bikes.
