Manx Grand Prix first practice news

The first practice for this years Manx Grand Prix saw the session cut short due to a lack of marshals around course so therefore the only action on track seen in first practice was the newcomers controlled lap. Amongst the newcomers for the first time experiencing the mountain course last night included Chris Mitchell who rides with just one arm proof you can never give up in pursuit of a dream. Also out last night on their controlled newcomers lap where John Simpson on the Splitlath Redmond Motorsport Triumph 675 Daytona bike, Jamie & Rob Hodson sons of TT racer Jim Hodson and seasoned Oliver’s Mount competitor James Cowton.

Timed practice starts on Monday night with the senior, junior and lightweight bikes first out in practice then after will be the classic and newcomers classes.
