Newcomers A Practice

Piloting his own teams ZX6R Kawasaki, Darren Cooper with lap speed of 106.201 mph, set fastest lap speed so far of practice week in newcomers A Manx GP class.

Darren who has secured notable results at Ulster Grand Prix, North West 200 and Oliver’s Mount, showed his pure road racing craft tonight around the mountain course.

Seasoned pure road racer Damian Horan 105.975 mph finished second quickest.

Chris White 105.435 mph, Neil Kernohan Logan Racing R6 Yamaha 105.225 mph both showed impressive form.

Top six in practice was rounded out by Barry Evans 104.966 mph Infront Motorcycles backed ZX6R Kawasaki, Dean Court 104.679 mph PRF Racing GSX-R 600 Suzuki.

Newcomers B Practice

Ryan Maher produced one of the performances of evening’s practice, as he lapped at an excellent 104.879 mph to set the pace in newcomers B Manx GP class.

James Chawke competing on Mckinstry Racing ER6 Kawasaki, produced lap speed of 102.169 mph to seal second quickest time.

TZ250 Yamaha mounted Gary Vines 101.857 mph, finished third fastest.

Sean Connolly 99.872 mph, Rob Temple DP Coldplaning/TC Racing ER6 Kawasaki 99.545 mph, 650 Ducati mounted Royce Rowe 99.075 mph rounded out top six in practice.

Newcomers C Practice

Mark Purslow’s fantastic Manx Grand Prix debut, continues as he finished fastest in tonight’s newcomers C practcice session.

Mark lapped at a fantastic 103.595 mph, whilst Robert Smith 98.382 mph piloting NC35 Honda machinery was second quickest.

Further stand out performances in practice included Elwyn Fryer lapping at 98.276 mph, Japan’s Masayuki Yamanaka 96.022 mph, Liam Greene 93.093 mph, Philip Munday 91.451 mph.
