Manx Grand Prix 2013 – Super Twins Race Preview

This years super twins Manx grand prix race has a good all round entry that features rising stars of road racing, former Manx grand prix winners and exciting newcomers.

One of the favourites for the race is James Cowton. James is having a superb road racing season and has impressed many in the super twins class. James is competing for the KMR Kawasaki powered by Vauxhall team in the super twins Manx grand prix race. Having won the newcomers c race at the Manx last year James is going into this years Manx grand prix full of confidence of achieving race wins across all classes.

Runner up in last years super twins Manx grand prix race Michael Sweeney is back this year competing on a SV650 Suzuki. Michael has shown good form this season in the super twins class and will be aiming for race victory when the super twins Manx grand prix race for 2013 starts.

Mike Minns has being a podium finisher on a super twin at the Manx grand prix. Mike achieved this in the 2009 lightweight Manx grand prix race. For this years super twins race Mike is competing on a ER6 Kawasaki backed by Merlin Sidecars.

Philip Mcgurk has a good record when competing on super twins machinery at the Manx and will be looking to continue his good overall record at the Manx when competing in this years super twins Manx grand prix race on a ER6 Kawasaki.

Competing for the Martin Bullock Manxsport team at this years Manx grand prix is Andy Farrell. Andy is set to compete on the teams ER6 Kawasaki in the super twins Manx grand prix race.

Andy is a experienced road racer who achieved good results over the years at road races such as Cookstown 100 road races, Tandragee 100 road races, Skerries road races and the Armoy road races.

2009 senior Manx grand prix winner Michael Russell is back for this years Manx. Michael is competing on a Track electronics backed ER6 Kawasaki in the super twins race, Michael is aiming for at least a podium finish.

Podium finishers at the Manx grand prix Stephen Mcknight and Alan Jackson are both set for the super twins Manx grand prix race. Both are competing on ER6 Kawasaki’s, Alan Jackson’s super twin that he is competing on is backed by the CMS racing team.

Son’s of Jim Hodson, Jamie and Rob are both competing on Rod Lee racing backed ER6 Kawasaki’s in this super twins Manx grand prix race.

Scott Campbell, Ross Richards, Rodger Wibberley, Rad Hughes, Ian Gardner, Tuukka Korhonen and Stephen Harper all have the potential to achieve good results in the super twins Manx grand prix race whilst one of the leading newcomers entered in the race is Joe Faragher.

Joe is competing on a KMR Kawasaki powered by Vauxhall super twin. Callum Collister who’s making his Manx grand prix debut this year competing for the Martin Bullock Manxsport is one of the newcomers to watch in the super twins Manx grand prix race.

Newcomers also entered in the race include Tom Weeden, Dominic Herbertson, Jason Markham, RJ Woolsey, Chris Mitchell and Peter Minns
