Japan’s first MGP rostrum finisher in history, Sagamihara’s Masayuki Yamanaka who finished second within the Newcomers C race of 2015, is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News rising in popularity, Manx GP Top 6 series.
A very creditable 23rd in last June’s Lightweight TT, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:
Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?
“I thought that the Mountain Course was rough and dangerous but it was a very beautiful place.”
Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?
“It is the CBR400RR (Honda) with which I got the second place in newcomer class.”
Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?
“It was that all the people of the Isle of Man were gentle and gave endless kindness. For instance they lent us the tent for the garage and they let us stay at their houses.”
Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?
“I look up to all competitors.”

Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?
“Praised, for this race everyone is praised.”
Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?
“It is the CBR400RR (Honda). I think that I can race it faster (around the Mountain Course).”
